The village of Bardolino, worldwide known for the homonymous wine which is produced from its vineyards, welcomes you with it's wonderful historic centre. Get enchanted by little local artisan shops, the artists, the lakeside promenade as well as several historic sites. Discover its churches, villas, castles and the event calendar rich in any type of activities: concerts, festivals, races, amusement parks and much more. And those who are looking for sports and active holidays can practice golf, tennis, go hiking, mountain biking, try paragliding, free-climbing, windsurf and much more..
Each year in May the "Filarmonica Bardolino" organizes the renowned National Piano Competition "Città di Bardolino". In May will also take place the "Palio del Chiaretto", a long week-end where each event is dedicated to this rosy wine. Moreover, between June and August also the traditional “Regata delle Bisse” (Venetian rowing boats) takes place. While in October we celebrate the harvest with the "Festa dell'uva/Grape Festival" and in November with the "Festa del Novello", where the new wine is celebrated.
Fishers and hunters? Sisàn Museum,opened in 2009, and is completely dedicated to the fishing and bird hunting traditions of the area around Lake Garda.
Bardolino hosts one of the most important international Olympic Triathlon competitions: the International Triathlon of Bardolino. The village is also starting point and arrival for the Lake Garda Tour, the cycling competition which runs the whole perimeter of the lake and where the Chievo football-team has is head-quarter: the Veronello sport centre.
Just few kilometres from our Hotel you will find different amusement parks as well as interesting proposal for different day-trips: Gardaland, Canevaworld water park, the Terme di Colà, Parco Natura Viva and the famous Parco Sigurtà, which is amongst the five most beautiful natural parks worldwide.
The whole year round, Lake Garda is blessed with Mediterranean climate and a just overwhelming natural landscape: the Dolomites to the north and the nice hills to the south and everywhere you wonderful picturesque villages and historic centres. These features, together with its "Dolce vita", its night life, the excellent restaurants, café's, discos and trendy bars are probably features which made Bardolino one of tourist's favourite destinations.
